Lose sound while in Full-screen program

Hello,

My problem is that when i'm running a full screen program after lets say, 5
minutes aprox. i cant hear anything until i close it and then it starst
working fine but, if i go back to the program, after 5 min, it happens
again.

Is this like a feature? Does the computer colses some programs while
runnign full-screen programs?
