Loseing DSL connection

I'm not too computer smart but i know a little.My problem
is i keep loseing connection from DSL.The phone company
brought me a new DSL box but that wasn't the problem. So
i was wondering if anyone had any input before i shell
out the 2or3 hundred dollars for the MAN to fix it.Thank
you
