Lost Music Playing Ability

I am not able to play any type of music on my PC. The
music selections come up on WinAMP but they will not
play. When I select the play button it flickers on, but
then immediatedly goes back to it's off position. I am
afraid that I may have deleted something that has caused
this situation. How do I reinstall a sound device driver?
