Lost Special Tools in User Aministrative Tools

Posted: 05-01-2004, 04:48 AM
I tried to get the User administrative tools off of the
C: drive and into my user's home drive (F. The system
tools (Component Manaegement, Computer Management, etc.)
disappeared from the Start Menu. I restored the default
folder location, but now the Special tools are STILL not
showing up.

FYI, I used RegEdit to change two keys:
HKEYLocal Machine/Software/Windows/Current
Version/Explorer/Shell Folders
-And-
HKEYLocal Machine/Software/Windows/Current
Version/Explorer/User Shell Folders

I'm sure that the special tools are referenced elsewhere
in the Registry via CLSID's , but I can't find
the "magic" locations.

At least the tools still show up in My Computer....

Baffled,
Mike
