Maintain focus on TO directory?

Probably been asked many times but does anyone know of a setting that will
restore the focus on the TO directory on drag-n-drop. My experience shows
that this function was lost between I.E. 5.5 & I.E. 6. I don't know the
association between IE & Explore but I find it hit & miss now the focus
disappears once the right mouse is released. It bugs me no end grrrrrr!!
(Any help would be greatly appreciated! BTW it happens in M.E & X.P.
