Make home movies to play on xbox

Posted: 10-04-2003, 11:16 PM
I'm using Moviemaker to copy movies from my dv camcorder to my computer
which are being stored in wmv files. After I copy some movies to a DVD I
try to play them in my Xbox but a screen comes up which says it can't
recognize the media. I have a new Dell workstation running winXP Pro and am
using the latest Roxio software to copy to the DVD. Is there a way to burn
home movies to a DVD and have Xbox and your standard DVD movie players play
these home movies? If so, do I need to use a different file format?

Thanks.
