Making a CD

Posted: 08-20-2003, 10:00 PM
When I try to make a CD from the music I have on my
computer with the Windows Media Player, it always wants
to copy everything I have ever copied. It is now up to
316 items, with the total time being 1644 minutes. How
do I clear it so it will only copy the one album I am
designating?

I am new at this, can anyone tell me how to add music to
my media list so that I can burn a CD?

I want to burn digital music to a CD, and have done so sucessfully. Trouble
is, it will not play in most CD players like walkmans and home stereos. Is
there any way to create a CD from digitally stored music that will play in
any CD player, not just computer ones? Thanks to anyone who can offer help!

Burn an AUDIO CD, rather than a DATA CD. Look up CD BURNING in the help
file.

Are you using CD-RW or CD-R cds? If you're using one, maybe try the other.

Most players don't support CD-RW's (check the players manual) - Use good
quality CD-R's

The usual way, but they will only play in up-to-date cd players. I
have one ten years old that won't play stuff I burn. I have one ten
weeks old, it plays stuff I burn.
