Making licensed version unlicensed

Is there any way to cancel the license on a license build of the OS
We are having boot problems with our CF booting from hibernate and the
board manufactures want us to send an image for them to test.
I obviously do not want to send a licensed OS
But equally I do not want to rebuild the whole thing so I can send an
unlicensed one.
a) It may not exhibit the fault
b) Its a lot of work

So can I over write an ini file or reg setting to kill the license and
make it behave like an eval version?
