Malware or good files?

Posted: 01-23-2009, 11:48 AM
Ad-aware suggests to check these files in my Vista H.P. SP1:

C:\Windows\System32\psdutil.dll
C:\Windows\System32\ADMIN_CLASS_LIB.dll
C:\Windows\System32\BatchCrypto.dll
C:\Windows\System32\DivC.dll
C:\Windows\System32\MyDIT_GenClassCoinst.dll
C:\Windows\System32\PSDUtil.dll
C:\Windows\System32\ShowErrMsg.dll

Could you kindly check if you have them?

TIA,

Massimo

No.

YOU do the work! GOOGLE each one - one at a time - and see what you
get.

Hi Massimo

Upload the files to 'VirusTotal' (http://www.virustotal.com/sobre.html
where they can be checked by up to 38 Antivirus/Antimalware scanner

Good luck.:

Good idea..

Some files seems to be "suspected" only from 1 AV (eSafe: is it a good
AV? :O)

Thanks a lot for your support,

In my experience - and it's the main reason I don't use it - Ad-Aware
finds a lot of stuff that is NOT a problem.

Try a couple others and you'll see.

Malwarebytes. SuperAntispyware. Spybot Search & Destroy.

If only one scanner is detecting something, then more than likely it i
a False Positive (false detection).

What was the name of the detection eSafe reported
