map lpt port to an ip address

how to map a lpt port to a wireless network printer with a specific IP address.
the printer is not shared so we do not want to map it via a shared name.
Normally, we would use the following:
net use lpt2 \\servername\sharename /persistent:yes.
I would like to do the same but directly to the IP address.
this whole issue so that we can do remote printing to it via remote desktop
or remote web access.

the network card must support "Lan Man" style printing.

Old Intel Print server Netport 10/100

Epson had one.

If you have a Lexmark or HP nic they have never supported this.
