Please help me with whis one...
Our users have many mapped drives to network resources on their computers.
To make things easier for the I would like to have them renamed to something
more understandable... Lets say that their home directory is mapped default
with the name "USERNAME on 'SERVER.DOMAIN.COM\SHARENAME$'
I can manually rename it to "HOME FOLDER", no problems. But when I try to
do it with a script it says "access denied" on all network drives, but not
on the
local drives.
Have anyone of you managed to do this with a script. We run Win XP Pro on
all our clients, and 2000 on the servers.
