um yes i have a problome vista beta 2 would not install if i uninstalled all
of mcafees programes is there a way 2 install vista beta 2 with out un
installing mcafee?

Aren't there any options in the notification area for Mcafee to disable the
real time protection and proceed with Vista setup?

I doubt it. Virus software is usually very OS dependent. PC-Cillin has a
free version for Vista
(http://www.my-etrust.com/Microsoft/vista/default.aspx). You'll need to
upgrade. PC-Cillin is a great AV program.

I think issue is Mcacfee preventing Vista from being installed.
You can also try the beta 2 release:

Ah. Ok I see... I checked that page, and yes McAfee is Vista compatible too:

That does make it better. I was thinking that if he did upgrade, he'd have
to install a different AV as well. Thanks for the info! I'm glad to see
more people getting ready for Vista!
