Mcafee malware Protection won't turn on

Yea earlier today i got the little message at the bottom of my screen "
forgot what it said" but i went to it and saw that Mcafee Malwar
protection was turned off? So I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't
clicked turn on got the prompt pressed Yes I know this antiviru
program blah blah blah and so on...Did that about 3 times still wouldn
work?!?!?!? how can i get My malware protection back on? Or is leavin
it off and using windows defender safe? These are questions i nee
answering before evil little malicious software decide that my compute
is a tastey sandwich:mad

Its a Mcafee application, you need to visit their site for help.
Generally using a single malaware app is no help, in prevention
