is hooked up to a cable modem. I recently installed a
Netgear router which enables my portable computer with an
XP Home operating system to access the internet through the
Netgear router. I would like for the portable computer to
have access to the files stored on the desktop computer and
to be able to print out documents using the printer
attached to the desktop computer. I know that I need to
set up a network in order to do so but I am having
problems because my operating system on the desktop is ME
while my operating system on the portable is XP. Can
anyone help me with simple step by step instructions to
accomplish my goals?
