| Re: Media Center DVD decoder I have been having the same issue... Since installing my ArcSoft Showbiz DVD2 software on my new computer that happens to be an Media Center Edition it is not allowing me save edited videos in Windows Media File format. When asttempting to save in the wmv format it asks me to install the Windows Media Player 9 encoder or another compatible encoder. EB-W I just contacted HP to see if they could instruct me as to how to uninstall MCE, to test to make sure it is indeed blocking my encoder and they tell me that it is part of my version of Windows setup and that there is no way for me to do so without uninstalling windows completely.
