Media Center on Vista beta 5472

Media Center on TV provides much stuttering and instability. I have done
the rounds of the usual suspects (tuner, Video Card etc). On another
partition on the same computer MCE2005 works like a dream on an XP pro
platform.
In addition MCE Vista sends my computer to sleep after about 30 mins.
Any ideas please?
