Messenger Voice & Video Conf (Prob)

I don't know what happens, but I can't establish a voice
communication with anybody. I m using Sygate Network (the
firewall is off) and also Windows XP Home Edition but I
really don't know what to do about this or how to
deactivate the firewall. You explained before about
clicking with the right button on the Network Connection
and I did it. The problem is that I dont have
the "Advance" option when I open it. So, please somebody
answer what can I do about this problem.
