Messenger won't work with non Admin account??!!

I too have run into this problem here in the University of the Pacific
Information Commons computer lab. We have a non-admin account
with restrictions as to which applications a user can launch. With this
configuration MSN Messenger will bounce in the Dock for awhile, but
ultimately fail to launch. Removing the application restrictions from
the account fixes the problem, but is obviously not a good solution.

I have noticed that two processes actually launch when launching MSN
Messenger: "MSN Messenger.app/Contents/MacOS/MSN Messenger"
and "MSN Messenger.app/Contents/SharedSupport/MSN Messenger
Daemon". When running the restricted account, the MSN Messenger
Daemon fails to start. This is most likely the reason the app will not
launch.

I have tried opening the permissions wide on the whole MSN Messenger
package/directory/application, but no help there. I have made sure it
is one of the unrestricted apps in the Account Preferences, still no go.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
