Microsoft Fingerprint Reader not working

The device is recognized and shown as working correctly in the Device
Manager, but it does NOT work.
Any ideas?

the reson to it not to work is the program DigitalPersona Password Manger
for Microsoft Windows Xp
the cd is for Only windows Xp
it wont work in windows 98.me,2000,vista
