Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional Embedded Supplement Updates

Posted: 12-06-2006, 10:38 AM
Hello group,

I have downloaded X13-38770.img (issued November 30, 2006) and extracted
WINDOWSXPESP2-OCTOBER2006-X86-ENU.EXE from the
\WINDOWS\WINDOWSXPEMBEDDED_SP2\X86\ENU directory.
It seems to me (and fc.exe ;-)) that this file is exactly the same as the
file WINDOWSXPESP2-OCTOBER2006-X86-ENU.EXE in the
\WINDOWS\WINDOWSXPEMBEDDED_SP2\X86\ENU from the X13-28934.img issued on
October 31.

Has something gone wrong while releasing this update? I think the November
updates are missing.

Regards Pieter

All updates are no on the secure OEM website.

Eberhard,

I have reported this "problem" also to WECRT.
Lynda redirected me to this BLOG article:

Yes, I did understand that. The IMG files we were talking about
originate from the OEM site.
