Re: microsoft works/word etc

Microsoft Word, Works, Office etc have never been included in any
operating system.
Many computer manufacturers chose to include some with their
computers.

If you think your computer was supposed to include them, check your
invoice and/or contact the computer seller.

Office XP is not a single application.. it is a suite of full size
professional applications.. Works Suite is a cut down version that
apparently is ample for the average home user..

If your version of Microsoft Works includes Word, you will see a reference
to it when you open the Works Task Launcher. I understand that some versions
of Works do not contain Word.

You should be able to find it by clicking on start,
select programs, and look thru the list. Select it, and
menu shoulld open for you. Usually you have only Works,
and Office is a trial version.
