Migrating Windows Medai Playlists...

Posted: 07-19-2003, 06:36 PM
Can I migrate my Windows Media playlists from Windows 98
on my old computer to Windows Media (V8) on XP? I have a
migration tool (Intellimover) that worked fine for my IE
favorites and Outlook Express address books but it did
not copy Windows Media "stuff" and it is not obvious to
me how I can do it via specific file transfer.

Thanks

I would like to migrate my Windows media playlists from
one computer to another so I do not have to recreate from
scratch. Where are they? What are the file names?
Thanks for answering so quickly.

They don't contain the files. They're part of the Media Library, and can be
viewed and exported from in there.
