Minimize Outlook Express to Taskbar

I recently upgraded from Win98 to WinXP. When I would
minimize OE in Win98, it would drop to my small taskbar
on the bottom right (where the time is), and out of my
way. In WinXP, it drops to the main taskbar at the
bottom, and is in constant view. How do I get it
to "disappear" to the smaller taskbar like it did in
Win98?

I never saw this in Windows 98. Did you use third-party software to
minimize OE in that way?

Hi Brenda,

OE never had this option. Outlook does. See if this helps:

Minimize any program to the Notification Area (Line 159)
