Minimum duration of a slide

Currently, the shortest picture duration that can be set
is 0.125 seconds (8 frames per second). Is there any way
to make this shorter? I would really like to get it to at
least 24fps.

Save the movie at 8 fps, and then run it thru another pass, applying the
speed up effect... to get it to the speed you want.
