Minolta QMS-1250w Laser printer

I have this printer installed on a Windows Xp Home
edition comp, athlon 2400xp, 512mb ddr ram, msi nforce2
mb. I install the printer and am able to print but if I
shut off the computer or the printer and turn it back on
it does not print anymore. I then have to delete the
printer and reinstall the drivers to fix this each time.
Any suggestions???

PS I have nearly the identical configuration on a another
computer only is WinXp pro and Asus mb with 256mb ddr
ram, have no problems with the printer.
