What video card? Are you using the latest drivers from the manufacturer's
site?

Let me give you a bit of background that may be useful. One day my display
became huge. so i looked for tech support and this is where i ended up. i
changed screen res, dpi, safe mode. and then i had it back down to normal
size but the display seems stretched horizontally. so someone suggested i
roll back a driver which i did. but it didn't work so i left it alone dealing
with the horizontal stretch. until my wife goes to movie maker and finds it
don't work due to something about a video driver. so i downloaded pc doctor.
it told me i have a misconfigured video card. and i tried to update but
windows can't intialize because of code 37 so i am stuck until someone more
intelligent than i leads me down the right path which will be greatly
appreciated.
