I used my Microsoft Professional XP disc and loaded XP on
my school laptop (I'm a teacher). When I did this, the
prompt appeared telling me to activate XP. I clicked
okay and received a prompt that XP had been activated.
The 30 day count down continued and I continued receiving
a message that XP had been activated. However, it was
not and now I can't use my school laptop. I can't get
into the computer to uninstall XP. What can I do to
repair the problem? Thank you, Meg

I think you must have misread those messages - usually they
*ask you* to activate Windows.

Can you boot from your Windows XP CD? If so you can
probably reinstall Windows and then activate it.
