Missing CD Drives

I have been using the system "as is" for over a year.
Yesterday I installed a program called MusicMatch and
when I next went to access my CD drives, they were gone!
In my Device manager it says "Windows successfully loaded
the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the
hardware device. (Code 41)" They are there when I boot
the system. I have uninstalled them and when I reboot,
the software says it has found new devices but I still
get the Code 41 message in the device manager and cannot
access them.

Please help!
