missing file. How do I get it?

well if u know where the file went and it was a windows
baseed file u can use your recovery disk to "copy" the
file onto your computer its a little trick called expand
you can use in your repair console but thaz only if it
was a windows file and you know where to put it
heres an example i was missing comctl32.dll
so i used the expand command
Expand D:\I386\comctl32.dl_ C:\Windows\System32
D: being my cd-rom drive (the recovery disk) and of
course my C: drive being my hard drive hope this helps :-)
