Missing HD Space ... could it be trojans

harddrive because 5-6 gigs of space mysteriously
disappeared. I ran spy removal programmes Spybot and spy
sweeper and now about 2 gigs of space has returned to my
HD. Norton disc doctor cannot run a fix although it
detects a problem, it says that the OS has exclusive
rights to my disc repair. I rebooted my PC to let windows
fix the problem via scan disc but it could not detect a
problem however i find that everytime i do this I find
the number of hidden files increasing. Can anyone please
