missing HKR registry keys when importing INF to Component Designer

How can the entries for a HKR key be added to a component? They don't seem to
be added when simply importing the INF file to Component Designer.

Btw, how and where are these HKR entries added to the registry by an
installing procedure?

HKR refers to a key relative to the drivers install root.
