Missing or Corrupted Files

The Microsoft Works Task Launcher[ Windows XP-home]
cannot be accessed. I have uninstalled and re-installed
Microsoft Wokk 7.0 but continue to get the
warning : "Windows Task Launcher cannot access all the
programs. Files may be missing or corrupted". I can use
the other programs in the Works 7.0. What happened and
how can I restore the files in the Task Launcher.
