I have been unable to directory where the codecs are
located. Which directory is the usual location of the
Windows Media 9 codecs?

The Windows codecs are usually in DLL files, not .ax ones. The problem ones
are in the .ax files.

Get the GSpot utility to see what files the installed codecs are in, and
where they are - there's a link to it at the bottom of the Setup... Software
page of www.papajohn.org

Thanks for the info... I don't see a divx codec.

There must be something else wrong with MM2

Thank you SO MUCH for your help! I've been trying to do
my editing in MGI, but I need to get it cut down so I
actually have some space on my computer left to put the
other movies in but I can't figure out -- I know how to
do it in WMM and now I can!!! *bows*

Hi, i am a movie maker user with this same problem and i'm
wondering if you've figured out how to fix this. I could
really use any advice as i am working on a short film
right now, thanks.
