MM2 Fix Link...

Here's the link to prevent MM2 from hanging up with XP.

They actually left out a couple of key things.

In step one where it says "go to display properties" it
needs to be preceded with "right click on your desktop
and go to properties" also, in step one it should say
BEFORE "advanced" to click on the "settings" tab.

Step two...

Looking at it, it appears to be very complicated. It's
NOT...Just follow what it says and when you get to the
point where it says "create the following dword" you
should go under "Edit" at the top of the page and
to "New" and down to "DWORD Value" and
enter "LargePageMinimum." After you have entered and
created a new file named "LargePageMinimum" Highlight it
and go to "Edit" "Modify" and add the f's in "Value
Data." Make sure Hexadecimal is checked.

I did NOT do step three. You may find you need to. So far
after doing Steps 1 and 2, I have worked in MM2 with no
hangs...Yeee Haaaa!

The tweak was first noted about 6 weeks ago, and I'm still not hearing from
people who have found it to be the right approach to resolving their
hang-ups and freezes. I'm still waiting for some confirmation from others
who have tried it, before advertising it more broadly.
