| Hello, I have this problem with my modem.I deleted by accident a communication port in my computer using the Device Manager window.I deleted the port which is supposed to be used with the modem (the modem is attached to this port).It dissapeared from the Device manager list of ports (COM).I didn't disable the prot I deleted it and now I want to make it return to appear in the device manager list or turn it on again or any solution to make my modem work again.My modem is internal.If anyone got what I mean plz help me to find the solution. | Try running the Add hardware wizard in the Control Panel. This should detect any hardware on your computer that isn't on the device manager. You can also manually find your hardware and reinstall it through the Add Hardware Wizard. Hope this helps, Stephanie Quote:
