asking for it? If so, perhaps you have something else on your computer,
such as a spyware program that is doing things you don't want to have done.
A Google search for "modem onhold" turns up lots of entries, but as you
failed to provide the important "detail" as to the actual name of the
program, it's impossible to know just what this is about.
