My take on that statement is that the SB4200 (SB=SURFboard) will work with
Vista because Vista is compliant with the USB standard. The SB4200 is a USB
device, and there isn't anything new about that. I think the Motorola site
just hasn't been updated to include the modem in that above statement.

All,To correct a typo: The last sentence should read: I think the Motorola site
just hasn't been updated to include Vista in the above statement (changed
"the modem" to "Vista."

the Ethernet port should work fine. Not sure if there is a driverfor Vista on the USB side. I'd recommend Ethernet over USB anyway.
