MOTO GP3-- MFC Launcher problems

Hi Guys,
In May 07 I bought a MotoGP 3 CD ((THQ-FOCUS series) - (the back of the CD
cover dose read it will Run on Windows 2000/XP / x64/ Vista ). I tried to
install on my XP-Service pack 2 computer, but it wont run it gives following
error message 'Launcher MFC Application has encountered problem and need to
close ..... send message to Microsoft, which I did, by clicking the 'Send
Error report’. But the same game from same CD runs perfectly on other Vista
computers �.
Also all other previous games such as ‘Lock ON’ and ‘GP 4’ installed on the
same XP PC are working Ok.

My computer hardware includes Graphic Card- NVIDIA GeForce3 Ti 500, and
sound card SB Audi Audio (A800), and Windows One LiveCare, with inactive
‘Windows Defender’.

As I understand MotoGP has been around since 2005. So, if any of you guys
have seen any articles on MFC errors for MotoGP3, and most possible cause of
error i.e some missing software from computer DirectX 9C? (although I do have
on this XP computer DirectX SD- Feb 2006 issue installed), or do I have to
click on/tick in some boxes on the window to resolve the problem or will I
have to install/uninstall some software or patches to help the game start-up.
Although all sound and music files installed under MotoGP 3 programs are
working OK.

Or could it be that although back of the CD cover reads will run on XP, but
some XP program software is missing from the CD.

Any help/tips will be most appreciated.
