Mouse driver disappears

Posted: 08-04-2003, 07:59 PM
I have just installed a Belkin Wireless Mouse and
Keyboard. When I first plug it up it worked ok. I shut
down for the night and woke up the next day and now my
computer won't see a mouse so therefore, it has deleted
the mouse driver for Microsoft Windows XP. When I go to
add new hardware, there is no mouse listed nor will it let
me install one. When I go to mouse properties, it will
not even go to mouse driver section. The keyboard is
fine, and the transmitter reads it okay. The mouse is
communicating with the transmitter, but not the computer
is not communication with the mouse. What can be the
problem and how do I resolve it. I have already sent a
help messages to Belkin. Thanks for any help you can give.
