Mouse and KB Detection

Is there a way to have XPe detect a mouse and keyboard on the fly, without
having to reboot?

Scenerio: Embedded box does not have Mouse or KB plugged in during boot.
Later, if the MS/KB is plugged in, you must reboot to make it work. Any
work arounds using the standard PS2 stuff and not USB?

I have not used one of those USB to Dual PS2 MS/KB Adapters. How well do
they work? That might make it PNP?

Hi Richard,

You will probably need to modify driver. You have working samples in DDK.

Best regards,

I installed a USB to Dual PS2 Adapter. This now does allow true PNP Mouse
and Keyboard.
Thanks for the help.

Richard
