MOV.MAK closes when input effect, transition or text

hello papajohn,
everytime i try to input video effect, transition or text into a clip, the
program closes immediatly. On my computer (tools, options...), i have no
"compatibility", only "general" and "advanced". How can i do to use those
functions?

Check the Problem Solving > Crashes and Hangs page of my site to get into
searching for the problem ones and renaming them .... or check the latest of
John Kelly's posts about Crashes and Hangs - it's his FAQ post of Jan 24th -
and use his site and tools.

i searched the codec "divxaf.ax" and renamed it "divxaf.ax_". It resolved my
problem. Ihave no more crasches now.
