Moving files and settings

I cannot find a specific answer to this question on the google. I have an XP
machine that has a dead MOBO and I also have another good machine with a
fresh XP Pro install. I would like to use the files and settings transfer
wizard to move the files and settings over to the new machine. How do I
collect the files and settings? I have slaved the old drive to the new
machine via USB dock and it shows up as the E drive in My Computer, but how
do I tell the FAST to collect the stuff from that drive and not the C drive?
Also, will an account be created on the new machine by transferring the
files and settings? Or do I have to do it manually?
Thank you,
Rip

You don't use FAST given what you have.
You don't move the settings manually given what you have.

The files - sure - go ahead. Only do the stuff under "My Documents" and
"Favorites" and *maybe* "Desktop" at first. You may need Outlook/Outlook
Express emails/contacts?

You cannot use Fast, other than on a working PC for its default boot drive.
Transfering data is simply a matter of copying, settings depends on what
settings, if Outlook dont even try

You can run FAST by booting from your winxp cd on your old sys, but its not
fullproof
