Moving Start Groups lose your items

VISTA Business, new machine, one user

I install application(s)
Then, I click on Start, All Programs.

I create a new folder called "My not used a lot programs"

I then move 3 or 4 of these other program folders into this new folder

It says it moves, but they are lost forever.

Right-click on the Start Orb. Choose Open. Then right -click again, but
choose Open All Users. In each window, click on the Programs folder. Is
the "My not used a lot programs" folder in any of those two locations?
