| hello, i wish to install xp on a new system...basically I'm buying a new motherboard. my copy of xp was purchased on ebay with a stick of RAM. It is not retail per se, but it is also not a branded OEM version. It's the "for sale only with a new pc" version. I installed this copy of XP myself. Can I change motherboards on this type of copy? I know the hardware change rules...i will be changing too much. So, can I basically install this copy on a new machine? | Guest
