mp3 transfer to usb storage

always recongize the usb device this is not the main problem.
when i try to send the mp3 files to my drive D, which is the usb storage, an
error comes up and says that i "cannot copy or send this file: file path does
not exist'
blah blah blah
now i have thousands of mp3's on my PC, and i know they work and i know
their location is correct
this is very frustrating, please could anyone be of assistance
