MPSetupXP.exe not a valid Win32 application??

I've downloaded the WMP setup for 9 series. But when I try
to run it, this happens. A default Windows error message -
white x, red circle - saying:

(directory)\MPSetupXP.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I've tried this on my other computer and it works fine. I
spent an hour downloading this and I'm not about to just
give up.
