I see the same thing, but didn't realize until now that this started
appearing after installing the fingerprint software.

Thanks

I forgot one thing, there seems to be a correlation between the IE crash and
sites that use SSL 2.0 (instead of 3.0).

Ahhh... same problem here. Was wondering why IE7 kept on closing down then
rebooting itself.

I like my fingerprint reader and the problem is just an annoyance, but
still, you,d think they would have that worked out.

Thanks for pointing it out.

Default MS fingerprint reader under Vista

Removed MS fingerprint reader and reintalled, but same error happening again
RE: IE7 rebooting itself automatically.

One thing that is gone is the pesky fingerprint icon that followed me clicks
on top of Vista screen gadgets. Removing and reinstalling seems to have
fixed the prob.

Why not try the latest driver delivered last late January?
