MS Office 2007 activation in Vista RC1

I have a problem with the activation of MS Office 2007 Beta in Vista CR1.
When I try to activate MS Office 2007 the following error message keeps
coming up: "A communication error has occurred. Your request cannot be
processed at this time. Please try again in a few minutes".
I had no difficulty activating Office 2007 in Vista Beta or Windows XP.
Can anyone help?

Hi Jan

I had the same problem, I suspect the error is at the activation end as
after several attempts over about 36 hours it activated OK eventually,
Stick with it!

I had the same experience as you had: after refusing to activate for the
past three days Microsoft Office 2007 was suddenly activated this morning
after I posted this problem.
As you say: the problem must have been at the activation end.

Is the new tech refresh for Office 2007 for the version of beta we have
installed?
It is a huge download 494.7 MB.........I don't know if this is viable on
ADSL connection but it definitely must have been refreshed
