MS Publisher to Indesign CS3 Mac

Hi all
I work at a school where until I started, everything was done in Publisher. I use ID CS3 but we have a LOT of the school publications on PUB format. Is there a plugin which allows ID to open publisher documents? OR, is there a format a document could be saved as in publisher which allows it to be opened in InDesign?

Hope there's some solution otherwise I'm re-building the docs from scratch.... aaggghhhh!! LOL
