msn 6.0 connection problem

Im using xp and having trouble connecting to msn 6.0 i
clcik sign-in and get an error message about checking my
connection to the internet or firewall, i can connect
easily 2 msn using trillian or windows messenger but not
msn 6.0. Can sum 1 plz help ????
